   Past simple 2: 

   Affirmative form: Subject + verb to be(past tense) + adjective

   肯定形式:主语+动词to be(过去时)+形容词

   I was tall.  You were shy.  He was generous,

   She was beautiful.  It was cute.  We were kind.

   You were brave.  They were patient.  

   Negative form: Subject + verb to be(past tense) not + adjective

   否定形式:主语+动词be(过去时)not +形容词

   I wasn't violent.  You weren’t ugly.  He wasn’t mean.

   She wasn’t brave.  It wasn’t delicious. 

   We weren’t independent.  You weren’t serious.

   They weren’t fat.

4.I was …….. because I used to/didn’t use to ……..
